It's Carnaval time and Semaine de la Francophonie at Sundance again!

From Monday, March 16 to Thursday, March 19, students and staff will be participating in a variety of fun activities to celebrate French cultural events.

Some of the highlights are:

• Monday - Wear something French/vêtements qui représente la francophonie

• Tuesday- Wear green or Tuque

• Wednesday- Plaid Shirt Day/chemise carottée

• Thursday- Special treat from School Council: Maple cookies

• The entertaining Folkofolie show on Tuesday, March 17, 2026

• Carnaval Bingo

• Announcements (all week)

• A scavenger hunt of francophone flags and, of course, the delicious Maple cookies (served on Monday)

Bonhomme Carnaval will also pay a visit to staff and students during the week.

Let’s all bring in 'la joie de vivre', the love for French as well as the Carnival spirit so we can make it at Sundance ... tout un festival !
