Dear Sundance Families
Thank you to everyone who joined us in recognizing Truth and Reconciliation Week and Orange Shirt Day. Our assembly today was a time for students, staff and families to reflect on the message that Every Child Matters and the importance of reflecting together on the path of ReconciliAction.
This week we also welcomed the Fall Equinox. Elder Saa’kokoto reminds us of being in the present. The Fall Equinox is a time of balance and change. Our school community is settling into new routines, friendships, and learning and the equinox reminds us to pause and appreciate the growth we’ve already seen.
We are grateful for the energy and support families bring to our school as we continue this journey together.
We Are Connected. Nous sommes liés.
Terry Fox Run Update : Thank you Sundance Families for rallying together to surpass our goal for our Terry Fox Run!
This year marks the 45th anniversary of Terry's Marathon of Hope, a powerful reminder of how one person’s courage can inspire millions. Your fundraising is helping carry Terry’s legacy forward and making a real impact on cancer research in Canada. We hope you’re as proud of your achievement as we are.
Sundance School has raised: $550.00! (as of Sept. 24)
If you want to donate, it’s not too late. Fundraising Link
