Dear Sundance families,
Thank you so much for taking the time to attend our parent-teacher conferences. Your presence and partnership mean a great deal to us. These conversations are an important way for us to strengthen the connection between home and school, and they help ensure that every student feels supported, understood, and encouraged.
We are grateful for your ongoing support, trust, and the time you invest in your child’s education. Together, we can continue to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Thank you to the School Council for providing a pizza dinner for the teachers. It is much appreciated, and the teachers are grateful for the thoughtfulness.
Upcoming Report Cards are open to families through your MyCBE account on February 24, 2026.
Remember to dress for the weather. Now that winter weather has arrived in Calgary, we ask parents to dress children appropriately for colder temperatures. Please remind your child to take off their winter boots when entering the building and carry them to their boot storage location. All children should wear indoor shoes inside the building. Thank you for helping keep the halls at Sundance School shiny and clean.
Lifetouch Picture Re-Take Day: Lifetouch will be taking student photo re-takes on Thursday, December 4 for anyone who missed the September picture days. If you would like your child(ren) to have their photo taken, please let the teacher(s) know. Thank you.

Have you been wondering whether we’ll have a dance to replace our infamous Halloween Dance?
Great news… YES, we will! 🎉
But, we can’t make the magic happen without you. We’re looking for enthusiastic parents to help plan not only our school dance, but all the amazing events that bring our Sundance community together throughout the year.
Please take a moment to look through the event dates in the link below. You’ll see where we already have coordinators…and where we still need some helping hands.
👉 Events without coordinators cannot run in the 2025–2026 school year, so your involvement truly makes a difference!
