Dear Sundance Families,

At Sundance, we know that strong relationships are at the heart of a positive learning community. When students feel connected to their peers, their teachers, and their school, they are more engaged, confident, and ready to learn. We continue to focus on building those connections every day, through care, collaboration, and kindness.

As we move forward this season, we are reminded of the importance of taking care of one another and working together. Thank you for the many ways you support this sense of community, and your involvement makes a difference.

Remembrance Day Assembly: We invite the families of Sundance School to join us as we gather to remember the men and women who have sacrificed their lives and those who are presently impacted by war and/or peace missions. The assembly will be facilitated by grade 5 classes and supported by M. Jordan, Music Specialist.

Students who are in Guides or Scouts are invited to wear their uniforms to school. Poppies will be given before the assembly, and students may bring a donation to contribute towards the Poppy Fund.

There will be collection boxes in the school foyer for your kind donations of non-perishable items for the Veteran’s Food Bank.

Date: Friday, November 7

Time: 10:30 am

We look forward to you joining us.
