As part of the partnership between the CBE and the Calgary Airport, Grade 4, Room 1, Mme Allie’s class had the opportunity to create art that is now on display in the International departures terminal at YYC.

Students incorporated their Social Studies learning around the theme of transportation, representing the evolution of transportation through time in Canada, into mixed media art projects. Students wrote artist statements in both French and English to accompany their art.

This installation will be on display until at least September 2024, and will represent Sundance School as a wonderful place to learn in French.
