The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day are both important observances in Canada related to the country's history with Indigenous peoples and the history of the residential school system. Sundance School has made a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation. 

We will recognize these days throughout the week of Sept. 25 to 28 in an age-appropriate way.

All families are invited to our Orange Shirt Day assembly on Thursday, September. 28 at 11 am for school wide songs and a story read aloud to recognize this day.
