We continue to raise funds for our new, inclusive playground for our students and community. Our playground has reached the end of its life, and replacing it is a significant cost that must be supported through School Council fundraising, donations and grants.

Thanks to the incredible support of our school community, we have raised just over $100,000 so far! This is an exciting milestone, but we still have a way to go to reach our goal. This total is a combination of fundraisers and casino funds. This money is dedicated to the project and we have reached the point where there is an urgent push and timeline to add and spend the dedicated funds.

We're kicking off this year's fundraising with a simple Old Dutch Potato Chips Fundraiser. Order form may be found under 'Related Information'.

Throughout the year, we're planning a variety of opportunities to support the project:

• October: Halloween Dance
• November: Student Art Fundraiser, Fallen Timber Meadery Drinks
• January/February: Calgary Hitmen Tickets
• Early Winter: Fill Your Freezer Frozen Food
• Throughout the year: possible refundable bottle collections and other opportunities

There is never an expectation to participate in every fundraiser, choose the ones that work for your family. Direct donations to the playground project are also very welcome.
