A message from Sundance School Council Chair:

My name is Stephanie and I am the School Council Chair.

I am very excited for our 2023-24 school year. 

All parents/guardians of a Sundance student are members of our School Council and we would love to meet you. 

Our meetings are held once a month, alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays for approximately 2 hours. 

At the meetings, there will be a Principal update regarding important school information such as the School Development Plan, staffing updates and monthly review of learning activities across the grades. Teachers also take time to attend meetings with different grades presenting. 

The September meeting will have a presentation from the Kindergarten teachers. 

Following the Council Meeting, there will be an update from the Parents Association where there will be a discussion on the ways funds are raised that support the entire school community, such as the Welcome Breakfast and upcoming Halloween Dance. 

We are lucky enough to be able to host these meetings in person as well as virtually. The minutes from the meetings are posted on the School website following the meetings: Parents Association website page, School Council website page
