SPA CASINO AGM NOTICE TO MEMBERS : The Annual General Meeting of the Membership for the Sundance Parents Association Casino Committee will be held online on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, immediately following the School Council and Parents Association Meeting.

Bylaws define membership as "any person having a vested interest in the educational well-being of students enrolled in Sundance School". Full bylaw document available on the Parent Society page of the Sundance School website.
The next Sundance Casino dates selected are October 24 & 25, 2025 at The Deerfoot Inn and Casino located at 11500 35 St SE #1000, Calgary, AB T2C 0J4. 36+ volunteers are required over two days. Please complete the 2025 Casino Volunteer Worker Application Form, (found under Related Information), and submit to spacasinovolunteer@gmail.com in May & June 2025 ONLY.
Historically, the Casino fundraising event brings between $68,000 - $ 83,000 into our school. All funds enhance student learning by providing access to, media equipment, technology & devices, residencies, field trips, resource books, and sports equipment to list a few key areas. Sundance School prides itself on responding quickly and effectively to the changing individual and collective needs of our students. This financial support is critical to ensuring a strong Sundance School.
The Committee thanks the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Auditor volunteers. These positions Must be filled on May 28. Sundance School's AGLC Casino License Application will be denied and the School will forfeit the October Casino dates if Board roles remain open and an insufficient quantity of Volunteer Worker Forms in Key Positions are submitted. The key positions to fill on the worker forms are: General Manager, Alternate General Manager, Banker, Cashier, Count Room Supervisor.
It is important to be aware that Sundance School's application for a Casino License MUST be submitted no later than August 2025, 60 days prior to the Casino event date. In closing, Sundance School urgently needs parents to complete a AGLC Worker Volunteer Form and join the Casino Board to maintain this fundraising Casino privilege.
