The annual family Halloween Dance and Costume Party will take place on Thursday, October 24 from 6:30-8:30pm.
Fire regulations restrict entry to 800 people and this target was reached on Thursday, October 3.There are no longer any entry tickets available to purchase.
Pumpkin Carving Competition: Start planning for your entry. Carved pumpkins may be bought to school on the day of the dance during school hours or to Room 1 by 6:45pm. There will be an award for Division 1 and Division 2 entries. Judging will take place at the dance by a secret panel of judges. Use the sign up to enter your pumpkin and don't forget to take it home at the end of evening.
Cake Walk: Cake! Cake! Cake! This activity is a huge hit every year for students and those with a sweet tooth. To make this event a success, at least 60 cake donations are needed. They may be fancy or plain, bought or home-made but must be nut-free. Donations may be bought to school on the day of the dance during school hours or to Room 15 by 6:45pm. Please use the link to indicate that you will provide a donation.
Here are some important reminders:
- Entry tickets will be sent home via student backpacks the week of October 21, 2024. Everyone entering MUST present their ticket for entry to the dance.
- If you have extra tickets that are no longer required, or if you would like to be placed on a waitlist for a ticket, please email volunteer.sundance@gmail.com
- School Council is very grateful to all the volunteers who have signed up to help so far, but we still need more help to make the night a spooktacular success! Please follow this link to sign up.
- Families can purchase tokens to participate in events or buy snacks for just $1 CASH.
