Dear Sundance families,
On Wednesday, February 25, Sundance School will recognize Pink Shirt Day. This day is an opportunity for us to come together as a community to stand up against bullying and to stand up for kindness, empathy, and respect.
Pink Shirt Day began in Canada as a student-led response to bullying and has grown into a national movement reminding us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. As we wear pink, we send a clear message that at our school, everyone belongs, and everyone deserves to feel safe and valued.
Throughout the week, classes will be engaging in conversations and learning activities focused on kindness, inclusion, and caring for one another. We encourage families to continue these important conversations at home, talking about empathy, how to be an upstander, and how our words and actions impact others.
When we work together, we help create a school culture where respect and compassion guide our actions each day.

Child Care Tax Receipts for CBE Lunch Supervision (January 2025–December 2025) are now available through MyCBE.

The next two Sundog Snacks will help support the Grade 6 farewell end of year event.
Booster Juice will provide refreshing beverages on March 4, 2026. The Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten classes will receive their orders on Thursday, March 5, 2026. DEADLINE for ordering is Wednesday, February 25, 2026
Mr. Pretzel will be a delicious side to a lunch on March 18, 2026. The Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten classes will receive their orders on Thursday, March 19, 2026. DEADLINE for ordering is Friday, March 13, 2026.
