Dear Sundance Families,
As we head into the beautiful warm weather of June, we are excited to continue taking learning beyond the classroom walls and spending time learning from the land around us. Outdoor learning opportunities help students connect with nature, stay active, and build a strong sense of community together.
With the changing temperatures throughout the day, please help your child come prepared by dressing in layers and bringing a hat, sunscreen, and a refillable labelled water bottle each day. Students are often very active outside and may become extra hungry from all the running, playing, and learning, so an additional healthy snack is also very helpful.
As we enjoy more time outdoors together, we continue to encourage all students to take care of one another by showing kindness, respecting personal space, and helping everyone feel safe and included during play and learning.
Thank you for your continued support as we finish the school year together with energy, connection, and plenty of outdoor adventures.

From the School Library: The week of June 1 - 4, 2026 is the last week for book exchange. Students may still withdraw books.
Students are asked to return all library books Wednesday, June 10 & Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Camping en Français: Join Canadian Parents for French for Camping en Français. August 7-10, 2026 at Rainbow Valley Campground, Edmonton, AB. 3 nights accommodation in campground, two full days of French programming for youth, lots of fun and memories, catered meal for the family.
