Dear Sundance families.

Thank you to all of the families who were able to join us for our National Indigenous Peoples Day assembly. It was a meaningful celebration of learning, culture, and community.

We were incredibly proud of the musical talents showcased by our students, whose performances reflected both their hard work and their joy in sharing their gifts with others. We are also deeply grateful to Elder Saa'kokoto for joining us and sharing wisdom that enriched our learning and strengthened our connection to Indigenous ways of knowing.

A special highlight of the assembly was the premiere of our new Sundance School song, created using gifted music from our school opera last year. It was a wonderful moment to celebrate our school's story, identity, and sense of belonging through music.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event possible.

Thank you to everyone that came as supported our students who participated in the Cross Country Run on Wednesday.

Lost and Found: Please take a look at the photos on our school website and ask your child(ren) to look to see if any articles belong to them. Parents are welcome to come to the school and check lost and found in person. All of the unclaimed lost and found will be donated or disposed of at the end of the school year.

Thank you.

Outstanding fees: We currently have about $700 in unpaid 2025-2026 field trip/activity fees, of which over $500 is for Fitset Ninja. Vendor’s invoices are paid by the school either at the time of booking, or after the event, and unpaid fees directly impact our available budget.
