These everyday lessons connect beautifully to Be a Good Ancestor. Being a good ancestor means recognizing that our choices create ripples and that the way we treat others today helps shape the community and world we leave for tomorrow.
Thank you to our families for your continued partnership and for the important role you play in supporting your children as learners. Together, we can help our Sundancers grow into caring, thoughtful individuals who make a positive difference.

Remembrance Day Assembly: We would like to invite you to join us on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, as we gather to remember the men and women who have sacrificed their lives and those who are presently impacted by war and/or peace missions.
The assembly will be facilitated by Grade 5 classes and leading all music on instruments with Grade 2 supporting.
The entire school will participate by singing along. There will also be one song from Grades 3, 4, 5, 6 and Choir Club at the end.
Students who are in Guides or Scouts are invited to wear their uniforms to school. Poppies will be given before the assembly, and students may bring a donation to contribute towards the Poppy Fund.
There will be collection boxes in the school foyer from November 4-10, for your kind donations of non-perishable items for the Veteran's Food Bank. Veterans Association.

Sundog Lunch: The next Sundog Lunch, Donair Grill, will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2026. The Monday/Wednesday Kindergarten classes will receive their orders on Monday, November 23, 2026.
Order using Healthy Hunger account. Please ensure you have updated your child(ren)'s teacher information to show the 2026-2027 school year information.
NOTE: if your child(ren) is/are absent on distribution day, please call the School Office before noon to inform whether you will be collecting the order. There is no means to store any orders that are not collected.
Volunteers are needed to make this great event happen. Please sign up here to volunteer. A police clearance and Annual Volunteer Registration Form completed are required to be able to volunteer.
