Thank You, Sundance School Community!
On behalf of our staff, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our entire Sundance School community for your support of this year's Terry Fox Run.
The Terry Fox Run is an important event that brings us together to honour Terry's legacy of courage, perseverance, and hope while supporting the ongoing fight against cancer. It is a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn about giving back, making a difference, and helping others.
A special thank you goes to the many volunteers who helped support this event. Your time, energy, and commitment make experiences like this possible for our students.
We are also incredibly grateful to our Sundance families for your encouragement, participation, and generosity. Your support helps strengthen our school community and demonstrates the power of coming together for a worthy cause.
Thank you for helping make this year's Terry Fox Run such a success.
General Reminder: If your child will be absent or late, or if there is a change to a registered bus rider’s after school plans, please telephone the office and leave a message on the 24-hour absence line 403 777 8690 extension 1, or call the office, extension 0. We ask that parents do not email the school general email address as this is opened morning only, or email directly to teachers as messages will not be seen during instructional hours or if ever a teacher is away.
Demographic Forms: The deadline for families to complete Demographic Verification Forms passed on Monday, September14, 2026. Currently, approximately 45% of students still have not completed Demographic Verification Forms for the 2026-27 school year.
These forms are a legal requirement from Alberta Education and Childcare. If forms remain incomplete, it may result in a reduction in funding for the students in our school. Please log into your MyCBE account, click on School Engage, and complete these important mandatory forms as soon as possible.
Transportation Services no longer required: If your child has been registered for Transportation Services, and the service is no longer required, please ensure you cancel via MyCBE accounts before the end of September. The CBE will apply charges for those students registered for transportation to MyCBE accounts in October.

Virtual School Council and Parent Association Meeting: We invite you to join us virtually for our first Sundance School Council and Parents Association, (SPA), meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 23 at 6:30 pm.

The Kindergarten teachers will be presenting a showcase of learning.
